Why Choose Oscatech for tooling
1. Precision Metal Stamping
Oscatech’s metal stamping production is from a wide spectrum of materials, which include cold-rolled steel, stainless steel, draw quality steel, brass, aluminum, copper, corrosion resistance, high strength materials, from metal sheets and coils.
The Factory works with materials that range in thickness from 0.127 mm up to 15 mm, and die configurations that range from the simple to complex in design nature. These factors guide the engineers to determine which punch press will be used for production from our numerous options.
Metal stamping of thick or heavy gauge material is not a problem for Oscatech. They have presses with higher tonnage capabilities to ensure accuracy, and we offer competitive pricing on all of our metal stamping services. Parts up to 13mm thick can be stamped in a progressive or hand transfer tooling, with their mechanical presses going up to 800 Tons and the ability to feed wide coil.
Press capacities range from 16-ton to 800-ton Mechanical Presses and from 500-ton to 1500-ton Hydraulic Presses. Oscatech’s expansion of hydraulic and straight side presses have given them even greater flexibility when choosing the most appropriate equipment to manufacture the required specs to your application needs.
2. Progressive Stamping
Oscatech has state-of-the-art facilities to meet all of your progressive stamping needs. They manufacture quality parts accurately and economically every time. Progressive die metal stamping is one of the most common types of stamping processes and we have a variety of materials, production capabilities, and warehousing services for all of your metal stamping applications.
Progressive die stamping process offers:
- An assortment of stamping shapes or impressions at once
- Minimal material handling reducing overall cost
- Efficient and cost-effective manufacturing process
- Offers high-speed, high volume production
- Operates to close tolerances
- Can produce multiple parts per stroke
3. Deep Drawn Parts
This is a specialty of Oscatech. From small parts to large parts, Oscatech has the personnel, equipment and experience to provide quality deep draw stamping and deep draw forming of parts to your given specifications. Their engineering and tooling staff has provided multiple deep drawing solutions for a variety of industries.
Their 500, 1000 and 2,000 ton hydraulic presses can draw your large parts to 0.4 m deep from thin and heavy material thickness.
Common draw problems like wrinkling or cracking are virtually eliminated due to draw simulation, die engineering and set-up experience.
4. In – House Tooling
Whether you have a tooling requirement for deep drawn stamping, complex progressive stamping or a simple compound stamped part, Oscatech ensures that the dies are built to the exact tooling specifications of your products’ requirements. Oscatech has a complete tool room manned by craftsmen with extensive die making knowledge and experience. This vast tooling skill set allows the team to respond quickly to the precise engineering needs of metal stamping and deep draw customers. The expert tool and die makers perform maintenance and repairs right at our facility, which includes adding in-die sensors to insure quality parts are delivered each and every run.
